Inspiration to really stand out with your print

Inspiration to really stand out with your print

It's your time to shine.

an extra shiny varnish layer is applied to your printing. This gives you a very shiny effect, which radiates a certain luxury. You can provide an entire cover with this varnish, but you can also choose to only coat certain parts of the printed matter with a varnish layer.

Blind print

With embossing or blind printing, a relief (without ink) is applied up or down in the paper. The paper is pressed between a metal and a customized embossing form. This gives you a pushed through or raised relief. Pregen provides more experience with your printed matter: it invites you to hold and feel your printed matter. Can't touch this!

Foil pressure or hot foil

You can refine your printed matter with a foil (gold, silver, copper, ...). The gold foil is pressed into the paper with a cliché (a kind of metal stamp). Foil exists in different colors. Gold and silver are the most popular, but other metallics such as cyan, green, pink or even holographic motifs are available.

Die-cutting or cutting
With stamping, your printed matter is cut out with a punch form. A die form consists of steel blades. This makes it possible to cut out your printed matter in any shape. There are a few standard die shapes that are used for business cards, folders, ... If you prefer a unique shape, then we make a customized die shape. Making a dying form is not cheap, but once it is made, you can reuse it.

Paper selection

In addition to the weight of your paper (a heavy/sturdy paper looks more professional than a light piece of paper), the type of paper also has a major impact on your end result. There is a large subdivision between 'coated' (coated) paper and 'uncoated' (uncoated) paper. Coated paper is 'ironed' (provided with an extra layer) so that the surface is 'closed'. The ink penetrates less into the paper and this makes the colors more vivid. With uncoated paper (so without an extra layer) the ink is absorbed more because the structure of the paper is open. Uncoated also feels a bit rougher and is more easily 'writable'. For example, recycled paper, letterhead, and postcards are uncoated.
